White Horse Soapbox Derby
Firstly, we’re delighted to report that the first White Horse Soapbox Derby is being hailed as a success! With numerous entries racing down Europe’s steepest slope and chicanes, it was great to see crowds of people enjoying the action and the engineering fayre. If you were there, you may have spotted our logo in the event brochure? It’s great to support this local event and hopefully, it will be the first of many to help showcase the engineering prospects here in Westbury. As well as being an entertaining day out!

From Soapbox to a packaging box! A client requires a solution to securely protect and house 25 components. It sounds straightforward enough. However, all 25 components are of different shapes and sizes. And, the size of the box has also been specified. Hence, it’s a bit of a puzzle but that’s what we like! We have all the components to hand & are now working on a solution using SolidWorks to create a 3D model of the packaging and components to scale.
We’ve been using SolidWorks successfully for over ten years to design products, tooling, fixtures, and specialist equipment.
